Losing weight

Before (Above)

After (above) w/no double chin!

Last year around this time I started my venture in my journey to lose weight. Ever since Austin was born I have just eaten what I have wanted and not really cared about the poundage. I am an avid exerciser and so the pounds weren't really going anywhere because of my eating habits and my knees and feet were starting to hurt constantly because of me exercising with a heavy body. Well, I decided to do something about it and I did and lost about 32 pounds. I am now feeling really good and have stepped up my workout regimen and am starting to get very comfortable with myself again. My eating habits are good but I am starting to slip a little. Because I have started to slip my body is reacting badly to the bad choices I have been putting in my mouth. Over the last few weeks my acid reflux (that I developed after Austin was born) has been acting up and I have felt terrible!! I am not one to go to the doctor over every little thing but I couldn't stand it anymore! I went and he told me I have an over abundance of acid in my stomach. I now have been taking medicine and feel a world of difference. Needless to say I still need to be watching what I am eating, such as not a lot of sugar, not a lot of carbs, not a lot of high fiber. So basically, DON'T EAT ANYTHING! It is really frustrating. I am very proud of what I accomplished but really wish that every once in a while I could go back to not caring about how much I weigh. The joys of weight loss!
