James' First Grade Field Trip to the Zoo

Michael here- James' first grade class went to the Zoo on October 30, 2009. My most vivid memory from elementary school was my first grade field trip to the Hogle Zoo. So, when the parent chaperone requests came home I really wanted to go. I told James I was going and he wasn't very excited until I told him I would bring a camera just for him to use. He was very excited after that. Our group included another parent and seven first graders.
James by the polar bear cage.
Tigers.
One of the few moments the entire group was not running full speed. James being eaten by an alligator.
Fun Zoo learing video games.

The camera I brought for James took this picture. James' class mascot is the cheetah so when we found one I got the camera and let James take some pictures. The whole class really wanted to take pictures so I let them all take a turn taking pictures of the cheetah. This is one of their images.

Scary insects.

Hooray for you Michael,
You are the V-I-C-T-O-R-Y. What a Dad to take the time to go to the ZOO with a class of First Graders.

Good idea to let James take pictures and include his friends. It looked like they had a good time. Did James take any pics of Dad on the field trip?

Good job, James and Dad.

Love, Grandma McIntire
