The boys Birthdays

I know this is really late but, better late than forgetting all together. This summer was really hard for me. Between the sleepless nights, a sick baby, and high energetic boys wanting to do something every second of the day, I was literally a zombie. I'm starting to not feel like a zombie as much, so I am starting to get a few things done, Catching up on my blog is one of those. James had his 8th Birthday on July 15th and Austin had his 5th birthday on August 12th. I am looking back on the pictures and really can't believe I was at the party, I don't even remember a lot of it, that is how zombie like I was. Both of my boys are really into legos and video games. I am not a video game mom yet, we haven't caved into buying Nintendo DS's or a WII and boy am I happy that we haven't. We did promise James that we would look into buying an i touch, 1. for the cheap games, and 2. we could password protect it so he wouldn't be able to sneak with it, and so he would always ask permission to play (so we had more control with it). Well, Michael looked into it and found a refurbished one for a really good price. So for James' birthday that was the highlight present. I let them invite some of their friends, and we also invited some family over to. They had a really good time. I am glad I am a low maintenance mom when it comes to entertaining, because just a little bit for them creates a lot of excitement.
